I just witnessed one of the most laziest usage of an automobile while smoking a cigarette on my balcony.

This chick leaves her friend’s apartment and enters her parked vehicle, only to drive about 40 yards to another parking spot in front of the nearest building. She exits the car and enters the building. Why?

I decided to make a project or an EP or a mixtape or whatever you want to call it. My friend, Fat Boy D produced all of the beats except one and I’m the lyricists who just wants to get away from his natural habitat and explore and experience something new and fresh. No time to stop, you gotta keep moving, there is so much to see. That’s pretty much the symbolism behind the title.

So, all I ask is for you to listen to it with an open mind (that is if you listen to it at all.) I appreciate anybody who takes the time out of their day to listen to it, even if it’s just one song. It mean’s a lot.

A Woman Under the Influence

I just watched it and I’m not quite sure what I saw. I’ll have to see it again. But what I do know for sure is that the cinematography was excellent and goddamn inspirational. The acting was superb—it was so believable. Bravo to everyone involved.

As peculiar and strange as this movie was, I could not stop watching, I had to know what was going to happen next. I had to know what it was about because things were just happening and were not being explained. And then it ends, as oddly as it carried on.

This is my second Cassavetes film and it was highly recommended. The only thing I’ve gotten from his films so far is that he has the ability to perfectly capture surreal depictions of life through a lens. If it wasn’t so beautifully shot I might think it was a documentary.

He sends you on these emotional roller-coaster rides that toss you into a world where people are products of their environments and you just have to watch and see what comes next. There are no introductions, you know nothing about the characters past, just what is presented in front of you, so it makes the viewer eager because the characters are so true to themselves—as you know them to be— but also so unpredictable that neither the character or the viewer knows what the future may bring.
